Ko Phi Phi

Popped over to Ko Pi Pi for more tanning for Cailín and hiding indoors and reading for me, cursed sunburn why do you taunt me so.

Cailín had her first "bucket" here

at a Thai Boxing match where we saw children (3-4 years old) beat each other for money, cultural or what.

But at least Foyser was covering the major food groups, beer, water, whiskey and coca cola, HEALTHY!!!

Then went for a wee dance with some English tarts we met.

Saw fire limbo at the beach where a heavily inebriated young lady tried to limbo under the thing but forgot to duck thus head butting the flaming pole, falling to the ground and allowing the flaming pole to fall on her while she lay there motionless for several seconds until someone lifted the pole off her, classic.

Few days later went snorkeling,

at a rather nice spot,

where Cailín was attacked by a load of fish.

Then went to visit the beach from the film "The Beach"

Lovely spot.

Went to a deserted paradise island called Ko Lanta for Cailín's birthday.

Happy Birthday Cailín!!!!

Didn't have any glue so I sewed here Birthday card together.

we sat and watched the sunset drinking a bottle of fancy wine we had saved from New Zealand.

until the lovely staff at the place we were staying found out that it was Cailín's birthday and made her a birthday fruit salad at eleven at night complete with candles, legends.

They also forced us to do shots the size of newborn babies legs.

which Cailín chased with a bottle of bear.

We were there for a festival where they send up a load of crepe paper hot air balloons.

It looked lovely with fifty of them in the air and they went for miles.

I have a giant head.

Trang

Arrived in Trang and stayed in a Lonely Planet approved hotel that cost €1.15 each per night, needless to say it had so many bed bugs we had to go out and power drink so we were drunk enough to sleep through them munching on our flesh.

The next morning Cailín went down to the restaurant attached to our hotel and within five minutes she was signing a book of well wishes to the King of Thailand, "On behalf of the people of Ireland.... yadda yadda yadda"

Amazing work Cailín, amazing,

Langkowi

Met a monkey on an Island in Thailand called Langkowi, it attacked me in the middle of a restaurant.

His Rasta owner said he liked people with short hair who kind of looked like monkeys. How rude.
