Fiji Islands

Left the mainland of Fiji for some island hopping,
Met a load of very nice people!

week there consisted of drinking....

watching the "natives" dance....

including fire dancing around the washing line......

was photo bombed by a Fijian lady who was also incredibly rude......

Cross dressing was also involved

and stripper dancing while in cross dressing mode.

did some snorkelling

looking for fish and terrified myself thinking about sharks

I then got a serious dose of food poisoning from the crap they were feeding it (Hint: when you can't tell what animal it is, or even if its mammal, fish or reptile you probably don't want to know) so we left that island for one with less e.coli.

We landed in Walu Beach and knew we had made the right choice.

Food still wasn't great but didn't make us sick.

but it did leave you still hungry

convinced CailĂn to try snorkelling

Seeeeeexy!!!!

Sunset on our last night on Wana Beach.

Next morning we got up to leave, packed our bags and waited for our boat, there was a couple leaving on an earlier boat and as was the routine, we had seen it happen at least ten times during our stay, the staff gathered on the pier to sing them a song while they were sailing away, a very nice end to a holiday I think you'll agree. BUT when our turn to leave came we struggled down the pier carrying our own bags, we turned to look back..... no one, eventually by the time we had gotten in the small boat two members of staff had arrived on the pier one following two children they were minding the other had a guitar in his hand, oh good I thought at least he'll play us a little tune and I took this photo, alas he strummed it twice and then let it droop limply in his hands silent, you can't help take that shit personally.

At least this sight cheered me up.
