FRAAAAANNNK!!!
Frank the tank arrived and got us all drinking heavily again in a place called Hat Ton Sai,
an isolated beach where they only have power from 6pm to 6am.
First order of business, beat Frank at Jenga and do shots of Gin as forfeit.
Surprisingly Frank (A Mechanical Engineer) was even worse then Eoin (Another Mechanical Engineer).
BURN!!
Talking of burns, Eoin got so red people were asking him to warm their swimming pools.
Hat Ton Sai is famous for its rock climbing
Like this mad "danger of severe falling" cliff
That's all a bit terrifying for me so I went bouldering with Eoin,
Here is Cailín demonstrating how its done
And Frank channelling his inner "Cliffhanger".
Was lead by Eoin and Frank on a jungle trek with promise of getting somewhere with ice cream,
inevitably they turned off the path, down a steep hill in a rain storm and eventually through someone's house where Frank scared the fuck out of their chickens.
I drew on my experience of years of watching cartoons in the 80's and called on He-Man to save us, he was busy elsewhere fighting Skelator.
I later found out that the trip had really been about finding the monkey that had bullied Eoin the day before and exacting revenge,
The monkey, like the ice-cream remained illusive.
Frank modelling more of his hat collection
Later that day the two idiots decided to rent a canoe and paddle off into the sunset,
I took this photo so I would remember what day they disappeared when writing the blog,
But as if trying to waste the space on my memory card they turned up eventually.
Even better than that, Eoin had bought a waterproof bag for storing his lady drinks and sunburn cream in.
I'm not usually a fan of fire dancing but this guy did it on a tightrope which earns him bonus points.
Even doing it one footed....
Found an abandoned car but the next day saw two people trying to fix it, those Thai's are crazy, most things weren't even remotely connected to anything else.
I like funny funny,
Eoin a post mosquito restaurant being set up on his shoulder,
Made a fire from coconuts and had some drinks on the beach,
Impression of Cailín in the mornings.
Longtail boats are way better then Dublin taxi's, they should be a Longtail service up and down the Liffey run by Travellers.
Cailín gives me the evil eye from behind a curtain on the train.
