Copacobana bolivia

Arrived in Cobacobana, in Bolivia, a small town beside Titicaca, we stayed in a shite hostel with cigarette burns on the sheets and one of those old beds where the soggy mattress sits on a net of springs which squeak every time you draw breath. it had an amazing view from the roof though.

Cailín keeps giving out because every time we walk down the street I keep pointing at the cool old cars so,
in the bottom left corner there is a Volvo 240 estate with a blanket over the windscreen.
Screw you Cailín, FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!

Went to dinner, the resturant was so weird, even the dog from the resturant (everywhere has a dog) wore an F.B.I. jacket.
when we were ordering me and Paul ordered a burger and pizza
respectively, no problems there, but when Cailín ordered spaghetti
bolegnese the waiter respond with "What?! really", Cailín asked him
about the pizza, was that really big, enough for two people, "No" was
his response, "then what's wrong with the spaghetti bolegnese" asked
Cailín, "Nothing" replied the waiter, "I think I'll have a burger
instead" replied Cailín, good call.

That's not even a isolated incident, we had to convince the owner of a
café to make us more coffee, he was really angry about the whole
thing. So there is a lesson for you, don't order nutrition in
Cobacobana.

That night we had a drink, me and Canadian Paul got sensible beers, Cailín bought "Champagne" for €1.50 from a Bolivian street stall in the shittiest small town I have seen in a long time,It tasted this good,
Canadian Paul vomited his lung up only minutes after this photo but kept drinking like a trooper, Cailín went to bed and I stayed up till 2am with Paul filling my head with his conspiracy theories, he disagrees with Cailín, she thinks we didn't actually land on the moon, Paul thinks we landed and we're then told to fuck off.

The next day we left this "Town" for La Paz the highest capital in the whole world.

The bus had to get a barge to cross the lake, we had to get off in case it capsized.

We crossed in one of these, with this guy, the most Bolivian man in the world.
On the other side I found this charming statue
Yes he is stabbing that other guy in the neck. Its to commemorate the war in 1882 where Bolivia lost its coastline to Chile, so that's Bolivian statue of a Chilean guy stabbing a Bolivian guy in the neck with a bayonet, no wonder Bolivians always look so depressed.
